Skin Check & Skin Clinic

Why Skin Checks Are Important in New Zealand?

New Zealand has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. Our clear skies, outdoor lifestyle, and high levels of UV radiation mean that Kiwis are particularly vulnerable. Every year, thousands of New Zealanders are diagnosed with melanoma or non-melanoma skin cancers, but the good news is that early detection saves lives.

Regular skin checks are the best way to catch changes early. Even small or subtle changes in a mole can indicate something more serious developing. By monitoring your skin, you give yourself the best chance of successful treatment and peace of mind.
