Pooja Kumari
Practice Nurse
Pooja has been a nurse for over six years and joined the medical centre in 2023. Inspired by the care her grandmother received while unwell, she knew early on she wanted to work in healthcare. She takes a calm, kind, and culturally respectful approach to nursing—ensuring patients feel listened to, comfortable, and informed. A core memory from her career was caring for isolated patients during COVID, many of whom described the nurses as their only family. Pooja is a proud mum who enjoys cooking, music, and comedy films. She travels from South Auckland to work because she values the team and the community she serves. Motto: “Be kind to everyone—life’s too short.”

Marinda du Buisson
Practice Manager
Marinda has been with the clinic since mid-2023 and brings a strong sense of care and calm to her role. She values the close-knit, supportive team environment and is especially skilled in conflict resolution and team wellbeing. Outside of work, Marinda teaches ballet and coaches netball—she’s even choreographed a school production. Motto: “Treat people like you would want to be treated.”

Anita Indrisie
Receptionist
Anita has been part of the team since 2023 and enjoys working close to home where she can build lasting connections with the community. Known for her wit and emotional intelligence, she’s often the first to ease tension and smooth over personality clashes. She’s well-travelled, loves a good op shop find, and is happiest solving a crossword or behind a camera. Anita is also proud to have supported her parents through later life. Motto: “No you’ve got—yes you can get.”

Stephanie Smart
Receptionist
Stephanie joined the practice in 2022 and loves being a welcoming face for patients. She takes pride in offering hospitality and supporting people through complex situations, always aiming to make their experience positive and smooth. Her favourite part of the role is being a bridge between patients and clinical staff, and she enjoys learning more about the healthcare space each day. In her downtime, she enjoys gardening, reading, and time with family. Motto: “A little kindness goes a long way.”

Ailun Guan
Health Improvement Practitioner
Ailun joined the practice in 2024 after completing her student placement here during her Master of Applied Social Work at Massey University. She brings experience working with survivors of family and sexual harm, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and homeless wāhine and children. She’s passionate about creating non-judgmental, supportive spaces where people feel safe, heard, and understood. With a background in early childhood education, Ailun combines empathy with practical care. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, dancing, singing, and sharing meals with friends. Motto: “Let it be.”

Traci West
Health Coach (PHO)
Traci began working at Comprehensive Care in April 2024 after completing her health coach training. She’s driven by a desire to help people feel better about themselves and proud to support patients from all walks of life. Her approach is centred on listening, encouragement, and celebrating progress—big or small. A standout moment for her was supporting a patient who went from struggling to take a few steps to walking regularly with confidence. Outside of work, Traci enjoys time with family, walking, and watching movies. Motto: “Remember to give yourself the same grace and space you give others.”
